The Best TV Shows to Binge Tonight

The quality of television series has been a topic of discussion for quite some time now. According to a report by Ofcom over 7 years ago, almost a third of TV viewers in the UK believe that the quality of programming has worsened in recent years. The report cited more repeats, a lack of variety, and an overall lack of quality in programming as the main reasons for the drop in quality. Fast forward to 2024 and it seems nothing has changed!

One possible reason for the decline in quality could be the rise of streaming services. With the advent of streaming services, the number of shows being produced has increased significantly. However, this has also led to a decrease in the quality of programming as the focus has shifted from quality to quantity. In addition, the competition between streaming services has led to a race to produce more content. Many have opted out of watching mainstream media altogether!

However, streaming platforms have provided some of the best programs of the 21st century.
