Kylie Jenner Speaks Postpartum Struggles
The 24-year-old welcomed her second child, Wolf, with boyfriend Travis Scott, 30, last month.
Taking to Instagram stories, the Reality tv star opened up about mom life in a string of clips on her story, explaining that she has found it tough.
‘I just want to say to my postpartum moms that postpartum has not been easy,’ she began. ‘It’s not been easy. It’s very hard. This experience for me personally has been a little harder than with my daughter. She said
‘It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually. It’s just crazy. I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that.
‘I think we can look on the internet and for other moms going through it right now, we can go on the internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and put the pressure on us, but it hasn’t been easy for me. It’s been hard.
She continued:
’I just wanted to say that. I didn’t even think I’d make it to this workout today but I’m here and I’m feeling better. So you got this. It’s okay not to be okay.’
Kylie added: ‘Once I realised that I was putting some pressure on myself, I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human, beautiful healthy boy.
‘We have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back – not even physically, just mentally – after birth. Just sending some love. Love you guys.’
Kylie Jenner Speaks On Postpartum Struggles
In an episode of keeping up with the Kardashians Kylie complained of her post pregnancy body after her first pregnancy with daughter, Stormi.
“Nothing in my closet fits me,” Jenner says, per People. “I’m getting rid of stuff that I just feel like is never going to fit me. I know I’m not going to fit into a [size] 25 jean ever again.” She told older sister Kim in the clip.
She continues, “I’m just feeling a little insecure. I feel like my hips have just spread. My favorite jeans, they’re never going to fit me again. I feel like some people don’t get it. Some people are just body-shamers.”
Kim responds:
“I will tell you this — just wear two pairs of shapewear and get out of the house,” she says. “I know it’s, like, really early and Stormi is so little, but you just have to roll with it. You just have to be confident, get some things that make you feel good about yourself and find your balance.”
“Honestly, you do inspire me a lot,” Jenner responds. “If Kim can do it, I can do it.”
