She recently made history as the first female rapper to have two number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. But fans of the star are increasingly more concerned with her private life.
The rapper is currently rumored to be dating comedian J. Cyrus, after they were photographed together on a holiday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The pair were first seen together in November 2022 in New York City, and later on a luxury yacht in Cabo, where they displayed some PDA.
Jeffrey Cyrus is a 36-year-old Gamer, and music producer based in Las Vegas. He is also known for his voice-acting roles.
However, some fans of Doja Cat are not happy with her alleged new beau, as they have dug up some controversial tweets and videos from his past. Some of the posts show him using homophobic slurs, making jokes about assault, and more.
Most recently some users of Twitter have alleged to know J Cyrus ex. Many people have come forward to express their displeasure with Doja’s new beau.

The rapper is no stranger to social media scrutiny.
In May 2020, a video surfaced on Twitter that showed Doja Cat participating in a video chat room on the platform TinyChat. The chat room was allegedly frequented by white supremacists and incels, who are men who identify as “involuntarily celibate” and often express misogynistic and racist views. In the video, Doja Cat can be heard making sexual comments to some of the men and using a racial slur with a hard “r”.
Around the same time, an old song by Doja Cat titled “Dindu Nuffin” was also brought to light. The song title is a derogatory term used to mock black victims of police brutality. The song lyrics seemed to make fun of the Black Lives Matter movement and the plight of black people in America.
Doja Cat initially posted a written statement on her Instagram account, addressing the allegations and apologizing to her fans.
